Early preview of ScheduleOnce 3.0

During the last few months we’ve been working on a new ScheduleOnce release – ScheduleOnce 3.0 which will add support for new use cases such as:

Support for multiple meeting types: Enabling you to offer different types of meetings, each one with its own characteristics. For example. Face to face meetings and phone meetings.

Support for multiple team members: Enabling you to accept appointments for multiple team members. For example, you have four consultants and need to accept bookings for them.

Support for multiple services: Enabling you to offer multiple services, each one with its own characteristics. For example, offering different types of massage.

Support for rooms and resources: Enabling you to offer booking of rooms and resources, each one with its own characteristics. For example, you have a a few conference rooms that people should be able to reserve and use during the show.

  • I’m trying to evaluate whether Schedule Once is right for my business. I’ve been testing the online service for a few days but have trouble finding a few features that are key to the way I work. I wonder if you could please get back to me on the following points?

    1) Most of my attendees are using SO to book training sessions that they have already paid for on an external site, so there’s no cost applicable for the appointment. HOWEVER, is there a way that I can get them to opt in to additional chargeable extra services and ask them to pre-pay me c/o Paypal?

    2) Is there a way that I can add and schedule additional automated EMAIL correspondence with my customer base? For example, I’d like to send out a post-meeting THANK YOU email with additional product offers.

    • Hi Mark,

      Thanks for your comments. Regarding number 1 you could have a PayPal button on your website and after they pay they will be directed to your MeetMe page. Please see the Getting paid before a booking is made article for more information.

      Regarding number 2 it would be best to use a dedicated service like Mailchimp or others that integrate well with Google. Since you have all the bookings in your Google Calendar you will be able to access the emails from any mailing tool that integrates with Google.
